
- Can I get service and parts for my used vehicle at your dealership?

Absolutely! We service and offer parts for all vehicles we sell - no matter what make or model, we can get the part(s) you need and do an automotive repair correctly in a quick, professional, and courteous manner.
- What are your store hours?

The showroom is open Monday-Thursday between 9:00am and 9:00pm, Friday from 9:00am to 6:00pm, and on Saturdays, 9:00am to 5:00pm. Our service department is open from 7:30am to 5:30pm Monday through Friday, but is closed on the weekends.
- Do you offer lease and finance options for your used vehicles?

We work with a number of banks and lenders to ensure that no matter where your personal credit rating is currently at, we'll be able to provide a loan option for you. Typically, our customers tend to finance used vehicles more often than they lease them, but we're happy to explore a leasing option on any of our used vehicles as well.
- Can I have my friend/mechanic inspect the vehicles?

Absolutely! Bring them by when you stop in, and they're more than welcome to help you shop and inspect our vehicles. It can be particularly helpful to have them along for your test drive.
- Do you have CarProof reports for all your vehicles?

Yes, definitely! We have purchased a CarProof report for every vehicle we have in inventory, and we're more than happy to supply the results to any interested party. Each of our vehicles has a helpful link to the CarProof request form, and we keep a printed copy in the file as well, so you know you're protected. Typically, the vehicles we keep in inventory tend to have zero accidents, or at worst, small, cosmetic accidents that have been expertly repaired. In rare cases we'll keep a vehicle with a significant accident on it's CarProof, but that's usually because our technicians have given us the thumbs up on it's repairwork and current condition, and they feel it's still safe to drive. In either case, our policy is one of full disclosure - you'll be provided with everything you need to know to make an informed purchase on a great pre-owned vehicle.
- Does DSU buy vehicles as well as sell them?

We might be able to help, yes! It'll largely depend on what you're looking for, how specific your request is, and what sort of timeline/price range you're looking at, but we'll do everything we can to help if we can! If we don't have the vehicle you're looking for in inventory, contact us today with some details of your search and we'll see if we can't locate and acquire the car for you.
- What is this Lifetime Engine Warranty?

It's exactly what it sounds like! Vehicles sold under the Lifetime Engine Warranty program enjoy a LIFETIME ENGINE WARRANTY. No kidding around. If you plan to 'drive it 'til it dies', we'll do our part to make sure that's a LONG time from now! As long as you perform the normal, scheduled maintenance on your vehicle at Drive Something Used, we'll honour that warranty even if you've had the car for 50 years!
- What does 'reconditioning' mean?

To 'recondition' is to restore an item or object to a condition as closely resembling the original product as possible. In the automotive industry, this means to clean, repair, upgrade and replace parts and pieces to try to improve the value of the car or SUV as much as possible. The idea is that one of the best parts of buying a new vehicle is knowing you won't have to spend any money on it for a long time... we recondition our inventory so that when you buy pre-owned, you now have that same peace of mind. All of our vehicles are thoroughly inspected, repaired and prepared for wear and tear, often with new tires and brakes, belts, and a full flush of all vehicle fluids. It's important to us that you drive off with a vehicle in the best possible condition it can be in - and we're betting that's important to you too. Reconditioning is an important step in meeting that goal.
- How do I know your vehicles are reliable?

The short answer is that we wouldn't sell them if they weren't! We're in the business of building business relationships - we don't want to sell you just your first car, we'd like to sell you your 4th car as well. :) Our reputation is everything to us, and making a quick buck selling a cheap, sketchy car is just not a good strategy in today's market.
On top of that bit of iron-clad reasoning, and when you factor in the reconditioning and refurbishment done to our entire inventory, many and most of our vehicles still come with remaining manufacturer warranty, and most are protected by our Lifetime Engine Warranty. Our business office sells a number of competetively priced extended warranties as well, along with rustproofing and some standard care items to ensure that your DSU pre-owned vehicle stays as beautiful and functional as the day you drive off in it. We do everything in our power to provide you with the peace of mind and the pleasant shopping experience that today's car buyer should rightly expect to enjoy, and we stand behind our product.
